Biography

Nikolas Passos is a Research Associate at the Florence School of Banking and Finance, EUI. He is also pursuing a PhD in Transnational Governance at Scuola Normale Superiore in Florence, Italy. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from UFRJ, Brazil, and has previous experience working at the United Nations – ECLAC and in Corporate Banking. Furthermore, he has held visiting researcher positions at King’s College London and the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Nikolas has authored papers on topics including monetary policy and development banking, and he has a keen interest in machine learning for forecasting and natural language processing.
