The Academy will give participants the chance to combine fundamental, basic knowledge with more complex, industry-specific topics, using a teaching strategy that combines in-person and online events. To represent the changing landscape of digital finance, the list of subjects will be updated annually. Two streams are included in the EU-SDFA: curriculum and knowledge.

The curriculum stream includes thorough training cycles that include foundational training courses, advanced residential blocks, advanced online learning modules, and ESAs organized workshops that promote knowledge sharing and peer-to-peer interactions among financial supervisors as well as the acquisition of new expertise and skills.

The knowledge stream includes the creation and distribution of annual reports that cover supervisory requirements, new challenges, risks, and best practices in the field of innovative digital finance. These reports are based on inputs from Academy activities.
