Biography

Valentina is a risk analysis officer at the ESMA Consumers, Sustainability and Innovation Unit. She has led the ESMA work on innovation facilitators, on FinTech licensing and has worked on various innovation topics (BigTechs, GreenTech, RegTech /SupTech, crypto -assets, digital finance). Prior to joining ESMA, Valentina worked at the OECD Directorate for Financial and Enterprise Affairs. She holds Master’s Degree in International Economic Law from Sorbonne University and LL.M. in EU Competition Law and Economics from the Brussels School of Competition.
