Rapid growth of digitalisation, platform-based services, and the increased influence of social media on the marketing and distribution of financial products. It is crucial to monitor and analyse the changes in the way consumers participate in financial markets and relate these changes to behavioural insights. How supervisors should respond to these changes and adapt their regulatory approaches to effectively safeguard consumer interests?
